The most common M&A situation for Torreya Partners is to act as a sellside advisor for an emerging company in the life sciences which has or is likely to draw interest from a larger company — interested in either a partnership or an acquisition. Our process and approach is very similar to that followed in licensing processes.

We carefully execute the preparation of non-confidential and confidential materials, engagement of potential acquirers, immersion in the diligence process, drawing out of offers, negotiation of offers and guidance to Boards of Directors in considering and approving offers.
